Chris “dexter” Nong, born 15 Aug, 1994, is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player from Australia, currently playing as an In-game leader and rifler for mousesports.
His nickname is based on a famous cartoon character, and there are small similarities in their persona, as dexter is also a very curious and hard-working guy in his area of expertise.
The history of dexter
dexter started his professional esports career as Call of Duty player but switched to Counter-Strike because he always had strong preferences towards it and his heart was pulling him in that direction.
dexter was not a part of the roster that was acquired by Renegades back in 2015 but was able to establish himself as a valuable element of the squad regardless. Back then Renegades picked up the whole squad of players from the former team known as Vox Eminor, and have rejuvenated the team completely, giving them an opportunity for a new start. A big proof of how big esports are becoming was the fact that Renegades were bought by a famous NBA player Jonas Jerebko only a year later in 2016.
dexter was an active gamer since the early days of his childhood and continued to carry his passion for esports throughout his whole life. From the first time he had seen how big the tournaments were, he immediately started forming a dream of playing in the big arenas. With hard work and practice over a long period, he was able to turn that dream into reality.
Even though he is young in terms of age, dexter has acquired a lot of playing experience in the past few years. Some of the teams that he played for were SYF, Chiefs, Winterfox, Tainted Minds, Funky Monkeys, Grayhound and his current squad – mousesports.
