One thing is for sure, Every team will do everything to win this tournament. The teams participating at BLAST Pro Series 2019 will be Astralis, Liquid, NaVi, NiP, FaZe, and Cloud9.

They will compete against each other for the BLAST Pro trophy and their share of the $250,000 USD prize pool. So get ready for several hours of exciting Counter-Strike!.

One question is back: Can FaZe find their form from the beginning of 2018, or will they falter? One thing is sure, and we will have six teams in for an incredible price of $250,000 and the prestige of winning at such an event.

Being back in form, dev1ce and Magisk from Astralis have been looking extremely good in the last couple of tournaments. They both bring a level of consistency almost unrivaled in the game. They will both look to finally win a BLAST Pro Series tournament on home soil, as they have never done it before.

GuardiaN is one of the most skilled AWPers to play the game of Counter-Strike, and now he is back with his old team NaVi. This should mean he has a ton of motivation to show he’s still got it, and every opponent out there will have a lot on their hands.

Last up we have the great s1mple. No matter what, he keeps delivering on the big stage, and there is no doubt in our minds that he will have another great performance here in 2019.

Tournament format

Group Stage

  • The group stage will use the Round-Robin format
  • The 2 best teams will compete in the final
  • All matches are BO1

Standoffs

  • The team finishing in 3rd place chooses their opponent from the remaining teams who finish below them
  • This is a special match where one player from each team compete against one another
  • Every time a player gets killed, the next player from the team will take over
  • The winning team takes home a $20,000 USD bonus prize
