Tournament format
The Champions Cup followed a simple and clear format with two phases: Group stage and Playoffs. The Group stage matches are played according to the Round-Robin format, where every team gets to play with every other team. They have two groups (Group A and Group B) of 4 teams each, all the first matches are BO1 and the next matches are BO3.
After the Group stage is over, the 2 best teams from each group proceed to the Playoffs. In the playoffs, all the matches are BO3 with a single-elimination bracket. The final is also played as a BO3.
Sometimes the organizer will test out new concepts and formats. Therefore always check the tournament page if you would like to study a specific tournament.Whats special about Champions Cup
