IEM Summer 2021

Jun 3, 2021Jun 13, 2021

IEM Summer 2021 is what we get since it isn't possible to hold IEM Melbourne on LAN. The Summer initiative is a new addition to the ESL team. The counterpart Winter will be shown later this year.

16 teams will compete in the $250,000 tournament. This tournament like many others will be held online. But if we are lucky the Winter tournament could be on LAN, so fingers crossed guys!

Highlighted players

We have selected five players that you should look out for in IEM Summer 2021 - because they are on the rise or is the best players right now. Use the information with common sense and don't use our subjective assessment in games or betting if you do not agree.

One of the biggest surprises of the last year, and especially the first months of 2021 has been the players of Gambit. 2 of their best players have been Ax1Le and sh1ro, which have been an instrumental part of the team's success so far. Heading into IEM Summer 2021, we expect these 2 players to carry their team towards more wins in 2021.

Another player from the CIS region who has been making a name for himself as an absolute carry is YEKINDAR. His incredible aim paired with a great game sense makes for a player everyone should watch out for.

After the previous roster from Cloud9 went on to be called Extra Salt, they have been starting to prove themselves as one of the best teams in North America. Their player oSee has been their star player, and we expect him to be that as well here at Flashpoint 3.

A player trying to replicate his dominance from the last 2 years is ZywOo. With a talent not seen often in the scene, he will be looking to get Vitality on the right track once again, as the team hasn't been performing up to their standards lately.
