The format of the tournament is pretty standard, although there are some slight differences. It is an A-tier type of event.
The tournament is divided into two stages – The Group stage and Playoffs.
The Group stage is divided into two double-elimination format groups, each of them having 4 teams, and all the matches are Bo3.
The best-ranked team from each group goes straight to the Semifinals, while 2nd and 3rd ranked teams go to the Quarterfinals.
The Playoffs are determined by the single-elimination bracket format. The organizers wanted to keep the same pace as in the group stage, so the matches are Bo3 as well.
Sometimes the organizer will test out new concepts and formats. Therefore always check the tournament page if you would like to study a specific tournament.
