WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 is one of the better A-tier tournaments out there. Soon to be played, the tournament will be home for 8 of the world’s most talented teams.

These teams include forZe, Copenhagen Flames, Gambit Youngsters, Winstrike, Tricked, GamerLegion, GODSENT, and Heretics.

Many of these teams and players come from the CIS region, which is where the tournament will be hosted. The WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 will be played in the Concert-hall VDNG, which is located in the city of Kiev.

This should ensure that the fans are fired up to watch players from their own region give it their all to win the trophy and their share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

Tournament format

Here is how the tournament is held. The format of WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 has a “group stage”, “playoffs”, and a final:

Group Stage

  • 2 groups with 4 teams battle according to the format “Double Elimination”
  • Top 2 teams in each group will continue to playoffs
    • The best team in the group go to the semifinals on 2 matches while the second-best team use 3 matches
  • The first round and the group winner match are BO1
  • All other matches are BO3
