Paris - France - Europe

G2 Esports (previously known as Gamers2) is a professional esports team from Spain, with Berlin being its headquarters.

The team has shown interest in various games, spreading its impact in Hearthstone, Rocket League, Paladins, PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, and last but not least, Counter-Strike.

The CS:GO team has a special characteristic that it is constituted by a player who is French, and they have their own headquarters.

G2 started its journey in the esports universe back in 2013. In 2015 they expanded on CS:GO and in 2017 the French roster made its appearance.

The team’s best rank was being the 7th in the world.

They have a little bit of a challenge with staying consistent, but they never cease to amaze the crowds with their interesting and engaging performances.

Starting the year in May 2016, they took the 2nd place in ESL Pro League Season 3 – Finals, loosing to Luminosity Gaming in the final round.

They managed to avenge that loss, defeating Luminosity one month after in Esports Championship Series Season 1 – finals, capturing the 1st place and the first title in their short history.

In September of the same year, they took on Ninjas in Pyjamas in the final round of StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2, but came short and went home with 2nd place.

In 2017, they went on a good run, winning the DreamHack Open Tours by defeating HellRaisers capturing another title.

In April of the same year, they defeated North in ESL Pro League Season 5 – Finals, establishing themselves as an elite rising star.

They went on to beat the same team once again in DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017. The difference this time is that they were much more dominant, making it look too easy to win 1st place in such a stacked tournament.

They went on to take 3rd place in World Electronic Sports Games and in EPICENTER. They suffered losses from the tougher competition in legends like Astralis and Fnatic.

Their latest biggest success was winning the 1st place in Good Game League 2019, defeating Tricked Esports in the final round.
