MIBR

Brazil -

MIBR – short for Made in Brazil is an esports organization from the country mentioned, primarily focused on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The team is owned by the “Immortals”. It is a relatively young team, founded just over a year ago in 2018, formed from the previous team members of SK Gaming.

MIBR did not have a start great, but it wasn’t so bad either. Finishing 6th in ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 where they got eliminated after getting beaten by Team Liquid in a very interesting fight.

They managed to bounce back, learn from defeat and were able to capture the 1st place in ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018, defeating team Kinguin in the finals in a spectacular show.

Later that year, the team went on to take 4th place in FACEIT Major: London 2018, losing to team Natus Vincere.

September of 2018 was a slight improvement for the team as they managed to get into the final round of BLAST Pro Series: Istanbul 2018, but they faced an unsolvable problem in team Astralis, who found no trouble in defeating them.

The same scenario followed them in November. MIBR looked a little bit different this time, more focused and determined, but they fell short once again, losing to Astralis in the final round of Esports Championship Series Season 6.

They closed the year in December by taking 4th place in ESL Pro League Season 8 – finals, suffering yet another loss to Team Liquid.

2019 did not start great for them either, as grabbed yet another 4th place, this time in Intel extreme Masters XIII – Katowice Major 2019, and once again got the defeat from Team Astralis.

May 2019 ended with one more 4th place in Intel Extreme Masters XIV – Sydney, this time they got the defeat from Team Liquid.

They finally managed to rise up and win the 1st place in Esports Championship Series Season 7 – North America, earning a much-needed dose of confidence and a comeback victory after a long streak of losses.

Maybe MIBR did not meet the high expectations that were set upon them in the beginning, but they still have the time and quality to find their rhythm and improve their position in the CS:GO universe.
