North

Copenhagen - Denmark - Europe

North is a young esports team from Denmark originally created by the Danish football team FC Copenhagen and Nordisk Film. The birth of this organization was not long ago, as they started their journey in January of 2017.

North is a little bit different than other teams, having their headquarters at the stadium of FC Copenhagen – Telia Parken.

The team is not limited to CS:GO only – they also have representatives of high caliber in FIFA, scouting constantly for new and rising talents.

North’s best place in the world ranking is 4th place.

The beginning of their path was paved with success. In the first tournament they joined, the team managed to get all the way to the finals of ESL Pro League Season 5. Unfortunately, they lost to team G2 Esports, which earned them the 2nd place.

Later that year, they repeated the same success eliminating their competition in DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017 and getting to the finals easily. However, the same scenario happened as their previous tournament – they got defeated by the same team G2 Esports and added another 2nd place to their resume.

The next tournament was a huge step forward – after dominating everyone on their way to the top, they defeated Team Immortals in the final round, winning 1st place in DreamHack Open Montreal – 2017.

They had a little downfall finishing 4th in ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 by losing to FaZe Clan, but quickly bounced back to win three tournaments in a row.

Dream Hack Open Tours 2018 ended by them defeating HellRaisers in the final round.

The same scenario happened in DreamHack Open Valencia 2018, only this time they had to beat Team Luminosity in order to win the 1st place.

After that, they seized the title in DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 by defeating Team Astralis in the final round.

After such a great streak, they found themselves on the losing end in Esports Championship Series Season 6 – MIBR defeated the team and had to go home with the 4th place.

They bounced back quickly, winning the GG.Bet Ice Challenge by defeating NaVi in the final round.

They are currently preparing for the end of 2019 and they are expected to have a pretty busy 2020. Their potential for growth is limitless, and they are feared even with just two years of presence on the big scene.
