Renegades

Australia/America

Renegades is an Australian professional gaming organization, founded in March 2015 originally under the name “Misfits”. It was first of all a League of Legends team, but they changed their name to Renegades later in 2015, and picked up the former Vox Eminor roster for their own CS:GO squad.

In 2016, Jonas Jerebko bought the Renegades organization from Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles. He is the third NBA player by a part of an esports organization after Rick Fox (Echo Fox) and Shaquille O’Neal (NRG Esports).

Like many other esport teams, Renegades did really well at the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019, but it has been a little bit of a rollercoaster regarding results which is why they are now at a 16th place in world ranking (while previously ranking 5th in April).
